W3Counter has two versions, both great. The pro version comes with a Live Map that jumps around showing you visitors' locations as they enter your site. The free version (Visitor Locations) doesn't jump around.

To sign up...

1. Fill out your personal and login information.
2. Click the "Create Your W3Counter Account" button.
3. Add your website details.
4. Select your tracker style.
5. Click the "Save Changes" button.
6. Copy and paste the code into your web pages.

There is a dashboard, but it is not configurable. Animated graphs. You can filter yourself, using a cookie. You must upgrade to the pro version to use the stats on a secure site.
